Shimmer Johnson
Shimmer Johnson is a dynamic singer-songwriter, vocalist, and pianist known for her versatility across multiple genres. As a Recording Academy member with The Grammys, she has established herself as a multi-genre artist, writing and performing in pop, country, rock, and dance music. Her ability to move seamlessly between styles highlights both her vocal strength and her skill as a songwriter, making her a standout presence in today’s music landscape.
Raised in Branson, Missouri, Shimmer grew up surrounded by the influence of country music, which played a foundational role in shaping her sound. Her father, Aaron Rogers, introduced her to music at a young age, sparking a lifelong passion. As a teenager, she expanded her influences by studying powerhouse vocalists like Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston, using their songs to refine her technique and develop her own vocal identity.
Today, Shimmer performs with Shimmer Road, delivering re-imagined country covers alongside original material, while also creating all of the backing harmonies heard in her live shows. Known for bringing a full-scale production to the stage including LED walls and immersive visuals Shimmer Road offers a high-impact concert experience.
In addition, she performs with Circle the Wolves, a symphonic metal rock band, and collaborates across genres by toplining for EDM DJs and writing pop music with co-writers 5ilas and Corey Johnson, further showcasing her range and creative reach.
JAY ROAD
Jay Road is a seasoned professional drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and show producer with deep roots in rock, metal, and progressive music. Known for his precision, power, and adaptability, he has performed alongside major acts including A Perfect Circle, Korn, and Three Days Grace, building a reputation as a high-level player capable of delivering on both large stages and high-pressure productions.
After years in the heavy music scene and leading projects such as Fear of City, Jay expanded into the country genre, bringing his signature intensity and musicality into a new space. This evolution led to the formation of Shimmer Road alongside Shimmer Johnson an artist partnership built on creative chemistry and a shared vision for a modern, high-impact live experience.
Blending country storytelling with rock energy and full-scale production design, Jay plays a central role not only as a performer but as a driving force behind the band’s live show architecture. His background in production and performance enables Shimmer Road to deliver a scalable, immersive concert experience from intimate venues to large-scale events without compromising intensity or professionalism.
Beyond the stage, Jay is recognized for his work as a producer, creative director, and collaborator across multiple projects. His approach combines technical expertise with a relentless focus on audience engagement, ensuring every performance is not just heard, but experienced.
RYAN WILLIAMS
Former founding member and guitarist for Aperture, Ryan makes his second foray into country music with Shimmer Road, his first being a brief three-minute engagement in Nashville. When not slinging steel on stage, Ryan sells houses under the moniker Rock Star Realtor. He's Also a killer Pedal Steel Guitar Player and Vocalist. Making Ryan an amazing addition to the Shimmer Road Family.

Ian Rositter is a seasoned guitar player whose experience and skill set him apart from the rest. Beyond performing, he is an exceptional songwriter with a gift for crafting memorable, meaningful music. He’s the creative force behind standout tracks like Saturday Bliss and Butterfly, both of which showcase his songwriting depth. Andrea Ibarra is an incredibly talented bass player with Shimmer Road and she is also an amazing drummer in other projects who commands attention every time she steps on stage. Her versatility allows her to move effortlessly between bass and drums, delivering powerful performances in both roles. She brings undeniable female power and presence, especially when performing alongside Shimmer Johnson.
Her bass lines are tight, groovy, and full of character, giving every song a strong and memorable foundation. As a drummer, she is equally phenomenal, with precision, energy, and a natural sense of rhythm.
